With World CP day approaching, I tend to think about all the reasons I’m proud to celebrate my journey with Cerebral palsy.
- Cerebral palsy makes me beautiful – Cerebral palsy is a part of me and it made me beautiful inside and out.
- Cerebral palsy has taught me to appreciate diversity- being a woman with Cerebral palsy living in a society that isn’t made for you and I’ve learned to appreciate diversity and other people’s stories.
- Cerebral palsy has given me a beautiful sense of courage – being diagnosed with Cerebral palsy has given me a beautiful sense of courage when it comes to facing an obstacle head-on.
- Cerebral palsy has given me a story to tell – cerebral palsy has given a story to tell each day as my journey continues I come across new people who want to hear the story of how I became the person I’m today and for that I’m grateful
