As Cerebral palsy awareness month continues, I tend to reflect on what I want people to be aware of about this condition and what it is like to live with it.
What I want people to know is that I am more than my Cerebral palsy and what you see on the outside.
When it comes to living with this condition people just tend to see in my case the big 500-pound wheelchair and the wheels in front of it.
I want people to know that I’m much more than what my reflection shows I’m more than my diagnosis and what it tries to define me as.
that’s my reason for advocating for Cerebral palsy and spreading awareness for those like me
In the hopes that one day the stigmas surrounding Cerebral palsy will become a thing of the past
Cause if people just took a second And looked past the obstacles people with disabilities face they would see that we are full of possibilities.
cause we are more than just Cerebral palsy
