Searching for positive inspiration in everyday life motivates us to live our best lives. One way to get inspired is looking at famous works. Reading inspirational quotes can help get your creative juices flowing for the day.
Quotes are amazing because they are short, yet meaningful, messages that others have left for us. These five quotes inspire me the most, and they will inspire you, too.
“A work of art is never finished. It is merely abandoned.” -E.M. Forster
E.M Forster’s words of wisdom inspire me to keep moving towards my goals, but I also believe these words can help anyone who is searching for their purpose.
”A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work.” -Colin Powell
Every time I hit a bump in the road, I remember Colin Powell’s words. They remind me that I have to continue to work hard to reach my dreams no matter how tired I get. I firmly believe the power of this quote can impact our everyday lives. We must always remember that our dreams are possible, but they requires us to put in blood, sweat, and tears to achieve them.
”Keep your eyes on the stars and your feet on the ground.” -Theodore Roosevelt
This quote by former President Theodore Roosevelt speaks the truth about how important it is for all of us to keep our eyes focused on what we truly desire in life. I reflect on this quote the most when I’m having a tough day or feeling a situation test my personal limitations. I use these words to remind myself that nothing is impossible as long as I have direction and remain steady on my feet.
“Your personal life, your professional life, and your creative life are all intertwined. I went through a few very difficult years where I felt like a failure. But it was actually really important for me to go through that. Struggle, for me, is the most inspirational thing in the world at the end of the day – as long as you treat it that way.” -Skylar Grey
I love this quote because anyone can relate to it. We all go through struggles in life that could actually change our lives. Although it may not always seem life-changing at the time, it’s important to face our challenges with an open mind. For example, when I lost my best friend to cancer, I thought I would never find happiness again. The loss did, however, inspire me and helped me find my passion for sharing stories, which has pushed me to pursue a career in writing. Sometimes, we can find our greatest inspirations from our greatest moments of pain.
I don’t know where I’d be today without the help of inspirational quotes such as these. I hope these beloved quotes inspire you to be the best you can be every single day of your life. Remember, you have the power to change the world, no matter what your passion is in life.
