As a person with a disability, I often think about what I would want in a perfect world no it’s not to be cured by someone.
It’s to have a better understanding regarding disabilities in the different types of people you will see within our community which promotes diversity and acceptance.
So in a perfect world, I wouldn’t want to get rid of my disability I would want the world to understand what it is like to live with Cerebral palsy and take the time out to view the world in our eyes from our different points of views cause because not everybody’s journey is the same and everyone has a different perspective that we could all learn from.
Only if people saw what a perfect world would really be like for someone with a disability and start to debunk the misconception that all we want we need to make our society perfect is a cure for Cerebral Palsy.
But I could understand why people would think that because we have to face this misconception that people with disabilities are suffering when really we are just living we could pretty much do what everyone else does just in a different way.
So in a perfect world, I know for me all I want is for people to celebrate their different abilities and tell the world about them because at the end of the day that’s what makes the world great that’s what makes the world the storytelling and even being different which is something to celebrate each and every day so never be ashamed of who you are and where your different abilities may take you because only you have the power to make a difference.
