I recently wrote I am me to describe the way I want others to look at me as a woman with Cerebral Palsy:
I am just me a woman who loves life,
although I use a chair as my legs to get around,
I am just me a woman who uses her creative mind to escape from my hard reality,
I am just me a woman who loves the world’s adventures,
and what’s in store for a woman like me ,
I am just me a woman who is a fighter,
but whose also giddy and full of laughter,
I am me a woman who never says ” I can’t ” at the beginning of a sentence,
I am me a woman who loves every inch of her body scars and all ,
I am me a woman who embraces her cerebral palsy
