Ahh, mornings. The morning time is both the best and worst time of day. On one hand, it’s a start to a brand-new day, and you have a fresh opportunity to accomplish great things. On the other hand, though, I hate mornings because I constantly wake up in pain. One thing that always helps, though, is having a morning routine.
My mornings are pretty interesting, to say the least. First, I open up my computer and start working while I blast my favorite country music. Blake Shelton, George Strait, and Johnny Cash always get me in the mood to get to work!
Then, I shower and think about everything that’s going on in my life. I think about the worlds I create for my novels, too. As a matter of fact, I get most of my ideas for my latest novels when I’m in the shower. Clearly, showering is extremely productive for me!
After I get dressed and finish brainstorming, I head down to the gas station and grab a sandwich (except on Mondays, when I go for a New England clam chowder and a Coke), and I always sit outside to eat. Then, I head to Disney Springs and window shop while eating a Mickey Mouse pretzel and drinking a frozen lemonade (the perks of living in Florida and attending virtual college!)
I love my morning routine because I get a productive start to my day, but I still have a good time, too. It’s important to have a morning routine that makes you happy to start each day. If you’re not productive in the morning, you won’t have a good day. A morning routine is the key to a successful day and a happy life. Develop a morning routine today, and you’ll find a new source of inspiration to wake up each day.
