I’m sorry that it’s been a while since my last blog post with the unexpected death of my grandfather it has been extremely difficult for me to keep up with everything nowadays but I’m slowly getting back to it.
In the past few weeks, the one reoccurring question keeps crossing my mind if I were to pass away tomorrow what I would want people to know about me and my journey?
I want people to know despite the obstacles and challenges that I may face with cerebral palsy, I’ve always tried my hardest to continue the fight no matter how tired I got in the process of it all.
I want people to know that I advocate for others not just for myself because ultimately after I’m gone well, I would hope would be that the world would be way more open to inclusion and awareness toward people with disabilities because ultimately the more we educate the better it is for all of us to come together as a whole.
I want people to know that yes, the mountain could be difficult to climb but you have to keep climbing it no matter what in every possible way because only you could change someone’s narrative of life and someone’s opinion about you.
I want people to know that your voice is your most powerful tool, and you should always use that to change the world.
Lastly, what I want people to know especially if you’re someone living with cerebral palsy and you’re having a difficult time is you’re not alone in the pain you’re feeling is just temporary so keep on going keep on stomping keep being you.
