This past week, I finally released a brand new book called HANDI-CAPABLE“STOMPING THE BARRIERS THAT COMES MY WAY”.
During the drafting process of HANDI-CAPABLE “STOMPING THE BARRIERS THAT COMES MY WAY”. I had many thoughts go through my mind one being how did I make it this far in life?
The second thought that entered my brain was the journey that I’ve been on in the process that I’ve taken to get to this point to say I’m comfortable enough to say that I’m a woman that lives with Cerebral Palsy.
I have to say what has guided me through life as a woman with Cerebral Palsy has to be my parents and the values they have installed within me.
Alongside the support of are those they’re the ones that have truly guided me along the way and taught me the money important lessons about my disability and the way I see the world as an individual.
I’m extremely thankful for their support and their guidance because without them who knows where I would be who knows if I would’ve had the same perspective about disability as I do today if it wasn’t for them pushing me to be the best that I could be.
When it comes down to it I think when it comes to having disability support and guidance comes a long way and appreciation as well because although my loved ones may not have this condition they experience it totally differently.
And in all honesty, that’s what makes us better people is when we take the tools we learn from others to achieve our goals despite our obstacles and challenges along the way that’s what makes it all come together as a whole instead of just one.
