Tylia L. Flores is a 30-year-old author, disability activist, and ordained faith leader who has transformed the challenges of living with Spastic Cerebral Palsy into a powerful platform for empowerment, advocacy, and ministry. While her condition affects her mobility, it has never limited her extraordinary impact as a minister, chaplain, coach, writer, and broadcaster. She is licensed and ordained through the Christian Leaders Institute Alliance, serving in many capacities including Apostle/Missionary, Elder, Deacon, Commissioned Minister, Ordained Minister, Minister, Licensed Minister, Public School Chaplain, Life Coach Minister, Officiating Chaplain, Christmas Chaplain, Fire/EMS Chaplain, Ministry Coach, Youth Minister, Funeral Officiant, Field Minister, Lay Minister, Ministry Officiant, Romance Officiant, Christian Wedding Officiant, Visitation Minister, Prayer Minister, Kingdom Minister, Matchmaking Minister, Mission Multiplier, Senior Minister, Christian Officiant, Faith Officiant, Youth Ministry Officiant, Bible Study Leader, and Christian Faith Officiant. In addition to her ministry credentials, Tylia is the founder of Able by Grace Ministries, a faith-based organization built on the belief that everyone has the ability to share God’s love regardless of circumstance or ability. She also created Strength Through Christ Coaching, a Christian life coaching program dedicated to equipping believers with disabilities to embrace their God-given purpose, build confidence, and live boldly through Christ, rooted in her life verse, Philippians 4:13. Beyond ministry and coaching, she uses media as a tool for advocacy and encouragement. She co-hosts Palsy Power with her fiancé and fellow advocate Cody A. McWhorter, where they discuss faith, love, and disability advocacy. For six years, she hosted Stomping On CP Radio with DJ Ty, one of the most impactful platforms within the disability community, and today she continues to blend music, storytelling, and encouragement as the host of Ty’s Country Rewind with Johnny Rock ’N’ Roll Radio.
Through her writing, broadcasting, coaching, and chaplaincy, Tylia proves that physical limitations cannot contain a spirit that is called to serve. Every ordination, diploma, certificate, and award is a testimony of God’s faithfulness and her perseverance to follow His call. Her life is living proof that true ability is not measured by physical strength but by the courage of the heart and the power of faith.
