Tylia L. Flores is a Christian author, youth minister, and storyteller known for writing faith-centered stories that highlight hope, redemption, and the power of God’s grace. She is the founder of Able by Grace Ministries and the creator of the growing Faith Steps Universe, a collection of inspirational stories that blend heartfelt romance, real-life struggles, and faith-driven messages.
Living with cerebral palsy, Flores often draws from her own experiences to create authentic characters who navigate life, faith, and relationships with courage and perseverance. Her work frequently focuses on teens and young adults, encouraging them to find their identity in Christ and reminding them that disability, hardship, or past struggles do not define their purpose.
In addition to writing, Flores serves in youth ministry, where she is passionate about mentoring the next generation and helping young people grow in their relationship with God. Through both her ministry and her storytelling, she aims to create messages that are relatable, compassionate, and rooted in Biblical truth.
Flores has written multiple inspirational and Christian romance works that explore themes such as forgiveness, inclusion, faith, and second chances. Her storytelling style often reflects the nostalgia of the late 1990s and early 2000s, weaving together youth-group culture, small-town settings, and faith-filled relationships.
Beyond books, Flores is actively building faith-centered media platforms including Able by Grace Ministries, The Christian Ledger, and Faith IRL, all created with the mission of encouraging families, teens, and believers to live out their faith in everyday life.
Above all, Tylia L. Flores believes stories have the power to heal. Her mission is to create “Stories That Heal,” helping readers see that God’s grace meets them exactly where they are and that every life has a purpose in His plan.
