Birthdays are a yearly event for me. My reflections from the previous year include what I have learned and what I have done during the journey I set goals for the coming year and make a plan for how I will reach them. I also take the time to appreciate the people in my life and thank them for their support. Finally, I reflect on the blessings I have received and how I can use them to make a difference in the world.
During my 27th year, I’ve worked on so many podcasts and written so many books that I’ve had the honor of connecting with so many of you and let’s just say I’m already planning many exciting things for the next year of my life that I’ve been blessed with.
My journey has been quite a journey. Throughout this journey, I have learned a great deal about myself and why I am continuing. As someone with cerebral palsy, I am who I am today. The fact that I have this condition doesn’t make me dread my birthday.
I am able to embrace it in many ways thanks to it. For the past 28 years, I have learned that life is an adventure. Sometimes you just have to take the plunge and see what’s out there for you. Now I am finally taking the plunge, and I am so looking forward to what lies ahead. I am excited to embark on this journey and embrace the unknown. This adventure is waiting for me!
I’m truly hoping to advocate more and share my story through the many platforms I have to share. I’m ready to take risks, push myself out of my comfort zone, and make a difference in the world. I’m ready to take on this challenge and make the most of it. Here I come, world!
Creating new memories and learning new things is something I look forward to this year I’m ready to use my voice and spread awareness for the causes I believe in. I’m ready to encourage others and help those who need it. I’m ready to make a positive impact and make a difference.
It’s like taking a new path on a journey, discovering new sights and exploring new opportunities. Some of the path may be difficult, but the end result can be an incredible journey of growth and insight. As Albert Einstein once said: “Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.”
