When it comes to living with Cerebral palsy, I tend to have a few bad days like any other average person who lives in society, but I still try to remind positive through it all and keep stomping.
I have five things that I constantly remember when I feel like Cerebral palsy is winning the battle and the world is just ending because of the pain and lack of mobility on the left side of the body due to my spastic Cerebral palsy.
- I’m Strong and could overcome anything– sometimes living in a society that you constantly have to adapt to could be pretty stressful and exhausting at times but you’re strong and you will overcome the obstacles you have coming your way and just think about all the obstacles you’ve already overcome in your life.
- Pain is temporary- When you have Cerebral palsy sometimes you face a lot of disappointments and you tend to deal with a lot of pain and discomfort, but just know that the pain you’re feeling is just temporary and you’ll be okay.
- Just cause its one bad chapter in your book doesn’t mean your story is over – life with a condition like Cerebral palsy is hard, yes but just because I had a bad experience doesn’t mean my story is over. Bad days come and go but the good days always outweigh the bad so if you’re reading this post you gotta keep on stomping despite the obstacles you’re facing.
